The postholder will provide a full and comprehensive apprenticeship recruitment service that includes: advertising vacancies, assessing and selecting candidates, matching applicants to vacancies. The postholder will have a caseload of apprentices and is responsible for monitoring and tracking progress, communicating with College staff, the apprentice and the employers to ensure the apprentice is successful on their apprenticeship and completes in a timely manner. The postholder will be responsible for offering the student advice and guidance, as well as identifying appropriate learning support which may be of a specialist nature.
The postholder is responsible for managing the employer relationships during the recruitment and selection process and acting quickly to resolve any employment and training issues. The postholder is responsible for establishing and building long term employer relationships, managing existing accounts, ensuring that all students and employers needs are met. This role will involve the promotion of training to meet contract targets, including apprenticeships, full cost activities and the full range of college provision where appropriate.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A-C, including English and Maths) or equivalent, a Level 2 qualification in IT or operating at an equivalent level, as well as a Level 3 qualification in Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) or similar / equivalent qualification or experience
Normal working hours of 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday
