Due to recent increasing demand for nursery places at our ‘OUTSTANDING’ setting we are currently seeking a Nursery Nurse to work at our busy and diverse on-site Nursery on a permanent basis.
Within this role you will work as part of a team providing a full range of stimulating activities for children, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met. You will also develop a positive relationship with parents/carers and other staff, including being a Key Person and carrying out both developmental activities and care routines.
You will also need previous experience of working with children aged 0-5 years. This role requires flexibility and enthusiasm, as well as a passion to see children achieve their potential.
To help the Room Leader ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the nursery, particularly within the age range of children in the room.
The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 childcare qualification and a good level of general education including Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
Additional training in first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding would be beneficial, however could be provided.
Normal working hours of 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday
