We are seeking to recruit a dynamic Pastoral Youth Support Worker to join our Learner Engagement team. To provide flexible support to the team and to learners and students across a range of levels within the subject areas from Pre-Entry to Level 1.
Working closely with our team of dedicated staff, the successful candidate will contribute effectively to the successful learning experiences of students in the College through delivering personal development programme, providing pastoral support, supporting in class and using a range of strategies to nurture and support learners to reach their potential.
The successful candidate must have experience of delivering group sessions at a standard of ‘Good’ or above, possess excellent communication skills and be highly motivated to provide an outstanding service to our learners. You must have proven awareness and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Flexibility and ability to adapt towards different learner needs is also essential to the role.
Finally, you will have the proven ability to work successfully and influentially as part of a team and experience of organising, managing and delivering learning opportunities.
