Inspire Education Group (IEG), comprising Peterborough College, Stamford College, and University Centre Peterborough, is proud to sponsor this year’s CambsB2B North, taking place on Thursday 12th June at Kingsgate Conference Centre in Peterborough.
Organised by Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, Cambs B2B North brings together some of the most innovative and dynamic businesses across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. As a sponsor, IEG is delighted to be able to highlight its commitment to building strong relationships with regional employers and championing economic growth through skills, innovation and collaboration.
IEG’s presence at the event supports the group’s Be Bold, Be Brave, Be Exceptional 2024 - 2030 Strategy, aligning directly with strategic priorities to:
Empower communities through the development of impactful partnerships that support opportunity and inclusivity.
Continuously evolve our curriculum to meet local and regional employer needs.
Maintain a sustainable financial future for us and our business community through strategic collaboration and diversification.
James Whybrow, Group Director of Apprenticeships and Employer Engagement at IEG, said:
“We are particularly keen to support the event’s theme of ‘Helping our region thrive’, as collaboration is at the heart of our strategy. CambsB2B North provides an essential platform to work hand-in-hand with regional businesses and stakeholders to understand and meet the evolving skills priorities within the region.
“Engaging closely with employers around the key themes of TECH, TALENT, and TRADE enables us to ensure our curriculum remains agile and responsive, equipping students with cutting-edge skills for lifelong success and preparing them for their next steps or career pathways.”
Visitors to Cambs B2B North can meet IEG’s Employer Engagement Team to learn more about apprenticeships, industry placements, bespoke training solutions, and pioneering green skills programmes, including through the new Centre for Green Technology at Peterborough College for the benefit of all staff whether new to an organisation or those looking to upskill or retrain.
We support employers to develop their people and their organisations. We strive to make a positive contribution to the prosperity and wellbeing of our diverse communities.
