Inspire Education Group (IEG) joined Citizen Hub Network and Project Abundance to bring together local businesses, civic leaders and community organisations to explore a collaborative approach to strengthening opportunities for people across Peterborough.
Held on Tuesday 3 November at The BRDG, the roundtable brought together representatives from across the public, private and voluntary sectors ahead of the official opening of Citizen Hub Peterborough on Friday 6 November.
The event provided an opportunity for stakeholders to explore the Citizen Hub model and consider how they could contribute to its development through partnerships, expertise, resources and employment opportunities.
Citizen Hub Peterborough aims to create a welcoming, accessible space where residents can connect with others, discover opportunities and access support without the barriers often associated with traditional services.
The initiative will begin with a six-month listening period, allowing local people to shape its future direction and the activities offered.
As an anchor partner, IEG is providing the space at The BRDG and supporting the development of stronger connections between education, employers and community organisations.
The roundtable reflects IEG's commitment to empowering communities through its Be Exceptional 2030 strategy, recognising the importance of collaboration in widening participation, supporting skills development and creating opportunities for local people.
