Inspire Education Group (IEG) is proud to reaffirm its commitment to the Good for Me, Good for FE campaign – a nationwide initiative that inspires staff and students in Further Education to give back through volunteering and fundraising.
The campaign, which has already generated over £4 million in social value across the UK, brings colleges together to create lasting benefits for their local communities. Through acts of service, charitable activities and fundraising, colleges like IEG are strengthening community ties and supporting those in need.
In the academic year 2024/25, IEG raised over £8,500 for charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, WWF, and St John Ambulance.
“We believe in the power of education to change lives, and giving back is at the heart of that,” said Julie Addison, Assistant Principal at IEG. “By taking part in Good for Me, Good for FE, we’re not only supporting our local communities but also helping our students develop the values and skills that employers and society need.”
The Group is excited to continue working alongside colleges across the country to expand the impact of this vital programme, ensuring that the benefits of Further Education extend far beyond the classroom.
We support employers to develop their people and their organisations. We strive to make a positive contribution to the prosperity and wellbeing of our diverse communities.
