Inspire Education Group has received a generous donation of 10,000 bricks from Persimmon Homes East Midlands to support practical construction training at our Peterborough and Stamford campuses. The donation is part of Persimmon’s Brick Donation Scheme, which helps colleges deliver real-world experience to students pursuing careers in the built environment.
The bricks, provided through Persimmon’s national Brick Donation Scheme, will be used by students at both Peterborough College and Stamford College, giving them access to industry-grade materials as they develop their craft.
IEG’s construction courses are designed in partnership with employers to reflect current industry needs. From multi-trade and bricklaying to civil engineering and site carpentry, our courses:
Include live projects and community builds
Use industry-standard tools and techniques
Involve visits to active construction sites
Offer T Level industry placements and apprenticeships
Provide progression routes from Level 1 through to degree-level study
We also work with employer boards and sector specialists to review and update our curriculum regularly — ensuring learners are job-ready and able to respond to new technologies and sustainable building practices.
