Brogan Rainey, Nursery Manager at The College Nursery, was recognised for her outstanding work with The College Nursery at the recent IEG Staff Awards, winning ‘The Award for Impact Through Partnership’.

Brogan, who recently led The College Nursery to a Good OFSTED result, was selected as the winner of this award as she has “overseen a cultural shift within the institution.” She has, skillfully through effective communication, developed trusting, respectful relationships, and encouraged active participation from all external and internal partners. Through this approach, Brogan has leveraged the strengths of individual partners, and maximised resources which has brought about significant change. 

She is proud of the College Nursery and this is reflected throughout the setting – the team are proud of their roles and the impact that they make creating a nurturing and inclusive environment. Brogan’s passion, reliance and enthusiasm is driven by her commitment to ensuring that the welfare and development of every child is personalised and that they have every chance to reach and exceed their developmental milestones while attending the Nursery.

Brogan is also a former Childcare student at Peterborough College and graduated from University Centre Peterborough in 2013.
