Inspire Education Group (IEG) has been named Training Provider / Programme of the Year at the Peterborough Telegraph Apprenticeship Awards 2026, retaining the title for the second consecutive year.
The award recognises IEG’s commitment to delivering high-quality apprenticeship provision across the region, working closely with employers to develop skills, support workforce needs and create opportunities for apprentices to progress in their careers.
IEG delivers apprenticeships across a range of sectors, with provision shaped alongside employers to respond to current and emerging industry needs.
The back-to-back win follows another strong year for apprenticeships across the Group, with IEG apprentices and employer partners also recognised among the finalists at this year’s awards.
James Whybrow, Vice Principal for Apprenticeships and Higher Education at Inspire Education Group, said:

IEG works with businesses across Greater Peterborough, Lincolnshire and the wider region to deliver apprenticeships and professional training shaped around industry needs, helping employers recruit new talent and develop their existing workforce while giving apprentices the skills, knowledge and experience to progress in their careers.
The Peterborough Telegraph Apprenticeship Awards celebrate the apprentices, employers, and training providers who contribute to the apprenticeship network across Greater Peterborough.
IEG was also named Training Provider of the Year at the 2025 awards, making this its second consecutive win.
