The BRDG, powered by Inspire Education Group, welcomed the Connect to Work Roadshow on Wednesday 14 October 2026, bringing local employment support services together to help people overcome barriers to finding and sustaining work.
Held at The BRDG on Bridge Street, Peterborough, the event was organised in collaboration with CPSL Mind, providing an opportunity for local residents to meet the Connect to Work team, learn more about the support available and explore pathways into employment.
Connect to Work is a new employment support service designed to help people who face additional challenges when entering or remaining in the workplace, including those living with disabilities, mental health conditions or other personal circumstances that may affect their employment opportunities.
The programme aims to provide tailored support that recognises individual needs, helping people build confidence, access suitable employment opportunities and receive ongoing assistance to remain in work.
Delivered with partners including CPSL Mind, Cambridgeshire County Council and the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority, the roadshow highlighted the importance of collaboration between local organisations in making employment support more accessible to communities.
The BRDG, powered by Inspire Education Group (IEG), provides a welcoming and accessible city-centre space where young people can connect with education, training, employment and wider support services.
By hosting events such as the Connect to Work Roadshow, The BRDG continues to strengthen its relationships with community organisations and employment support providers, helping people access the guidance and opportunities they need to take their next steps.
The roadshow forms part of wider efforts to connect residents with employment support services across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
